RTG Diagnostics

We were the first in Europe to introduce the latest RTG diagnostic technology linked with Cerec Omnicam that enables three-dimensional (CT) radiological images, with the lowest radiation dose to the patient and computer guided dentistry. Galileos Comfort Dental CT device is the latest generation, which sets a new standard in radiological diagnostics thanks to a series of patented solutions that have resulted in improved image quality while reducing the radiation dose. In practice, this means the possibility of three-dimensional imaging of dental and ENT indications in high resolution. With all the standard diagnostic programs that include cephalometric images, Galileos Comfort is also equipped with an advanced program for computer guided implantology, which was deemed the best in its category.

Retroalveolar footage

Footage of a single tooth.

Panoramic footage

Panoramic shot (orthopantomograph) Is x-ray footage of maxillofacial region and a region which contains the upper and lower jaw with all the teeth displayed on it, with both jaw joints and associated sinuses.

Footage of the paranasal sinuses

Footage of paranasal sinuses includes sinuses and surrounding structures. It can be recorded in several different projections while the standard  takes only classical posterior-anterior image.

Cephalometric footage

The most commonly used for orthodontic diagnosis.

Pictures of joints (TMJ)

3D CT represents the latest diagnostic method that allows us safe and accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for our patients. 2D images, because of the overlap of complex anatomical structures, are  difficulti to interpret. While measuring  dose of safety is needed to compensate  increase occurred ,due to the recording techniques, and the width (thickness) and the exact spatial position do not have any information.

3D CT with its high efficiency exposures ensures always successful high-resolution images. With the 3D display we get the accurate visualization of dental structures in their actual display. You can display axial, sagittal, coronal and custom cut, every oral surgery and implant surgery in particular, is being carefully planned using this type of diagnosis.

Every detail can be measured very precisely from any projection or view angle which wasn’t possible in the earlier 2D footage, because the 2D images are “frozen” display from only one angle.

This device can even measure bone density, and and help in the diagnosis that way, especially if you have periodontal disease, cysts, etc. or if yoU are planning to have an implant.
