Although the most demanding branches of dentistry, for these services we guarantee you a high level of expertise and professionalism in performance. In addition to quality, Bičakčić Dental Polyclinic services are characterized by an individual approach to each patient, based on the belief that every healthy and natural smile is special in its own way.
Implantology represents the most demanding branch of dentistry. In our center we have gone a step further and in this sense have introduced 3D implant planning and positioning. Computer-aided implantology is currently the most reliable way to plan and install dental implants.
The loss of one or more teeth can also cause more serious health problems, so their replacement is not only a matter of aesthetics but also of health. Dental implants represent the best solution for the final result of a tooth that will look natural and healthy. They are made of titanium and titanium alloys that feature high strength, light weight and excellent corrosion resistance, which contributes to the wide and varied use of dental implants.
Dental implants are the best solution that will give you a natural look and healthy teeth!
Implant placement has a positive impact on quality of life. The biggest advantage of the implant is its natural appearance and healthy teeth. You can finally laugh, talk, eat, and enjoy other everyday activities without thinking of missing teeth.
Immediately before the implantation of the dental implant, a complete examination and digital orthopan, ie x-ray of both jaws, should be performed.
Based on the X-ray examination, we will evaluate the quality of the bone and the anatomy of the supporting structure, after which the type and procedure of implant therapy will be carefully planned. Through discussions with the dentist and oral surgeon, all stages of implant placement are explained in detail, then the procedure is aligned with the patient’s existing condition, desires and expectations.
Services within our implant center
Replacement of one tooth
If only one tooth is lost and the adjacent teeth are completely healthy, instead of grinding adjacent teeth and the placement of the bridge, an implant can be installed to preserve adjacent teeth from grinding.
Replacing more teeth
In cases where more teeth need to be replaced, implant bridges can be made. The number of implants required for the placement of the bridge depends on the span of the bridge, or the number of teeth being replaced. It is desirable to provide the edentulous space with as many implants as possible in order to achieve the best possible implant stability and reduce the load on the implants by the chewing forces.
Replacement of all teeth in toothless jaws
There are 2 options:
Depending on the situation, 6-8 implants are placed in the jaw. The osseointegration time is 3 months after surgery. Subsequently, superstructures and ceramic bridges are placed on the implants to replace the teeth.
Implants are positioned with the jaw to allow the mobile prosthesis to move in the mouth. The implant substructure is then in the function of attachments, one part of which is on the implant and the other part within the prosthesis.
The minimum number of implants to help retain the denture in the toothless jaws is 2 implants, but for optimal prosthesis function due to the polygonal forces acting on the denture when chewing, it is much better to fit 4 implants in the upper or lower jaw.
