The All On 6 method involves large fixed prosthetic work (bridge) anchored on 6 implants. It is functionally and aesthetically the best and most luxurious variant with an excellent long-term prognosis that meets our patients with aesthetically high requirements. As a rule, it is always better to have as many supports for prosthetic work as possible, so this method is a great solution for toothless jaws. However, it should be kept in mind that in some situations, due to the small amount or poor quality of the bone, there are a limited number of implants that can be placed.
Advantages of the All-on-6 method
- mobile prostheses are the same as with the All-On-4 implant concept, with the All-On-6 method being a more luxurious variant
- fixed teeth in just one visit
- one visit
- Immediate load-instantaneous function
- drastically improving the quality of life
- natural appearance of teeth and sense of unity
- easy maintenance of oral hygieneprevents long-term jaw weakening
The procedure for implant placement is performed under local anesthesia (ordinary anesthesia as in tooth repair) and the whole procedure is completely painless. Implants are implanted in optimal locations, because of the previous step of obtaining bone volume, the implantation itself was facilitated.
The All on 6 concept is designed to avoid any bone upgrades and to allow the patient to get teeth as soon as possible. In this case, the lateral implants are placed at a 45-degree angle to avoid important structures in the jaw (sinus in the upper jaw and ” nerve ” in the lower jaw).
If the patient has enough bone to the sinuses, it is possible to install 6 parallel implants and make a bridge on 6 implants. In one part of the cases, prior to the implantation itself, a bone upgrade should be made to create the ideal conditions for the installation of 6 parallel-positioned implants in 6-9 months.
The hygiene of a temporary and permanent bridge is the same. Unlike your teeth, the All on 6 bridge consists of a white (teeth) and red (imitation gum) part. To ensure a clean base of the bridge (the part of the bridge that rests on the gums and that resembles the upgrade in the implant), it is now necessary to clean both the white and red parts of the bridge.
In addition to the normal brush, the use of an interdental (interdental) brush to clean the implant-bearing cylinder is essential in everyday oral hygiene. This eliminates bacteria around the implant, which prevents inflammation of the bone around the implant and ensures long duration of operation.
We always propose and prefer the installation of the All-on-6 method over the All-on-4 method because of the quality, durability, and efficiency of the solution itself.
